Writing frames to stimulate and support young children’s recount writing. Sheet 1 is based on a trip to a farm. Children can write in the animal noises they might hear in the speech bubbles and then fill in the shapes with writing and drawing to illustrate the trip. Sheet 2 is based on a trip to the zoo. Again, children can fill in the speech bubbles and the shapes with writing and drawings. Sheet 3 is a blank template for children to use for their own work adding drawings, pictures and writing.
